Updated EK Hydrostatic Density Balance | LCD Screen Version, Weighing & Density Testing
BDSCALES is pleased to introduce the upgraded version of our well-received EK Hydrostatic Density Balance.
Building on the mature EK series platform, this model brings two major display upgrades while fully inheriting the core hydrostatic density testing function. The original LED screen is replaced with an LCD display, and the single-line display has been upgraded to a dual-line screen, bringing a more intuitive and comfortable operating experience for laboratory technicians, gold appraisers and quality control operators.
The brand-new LCD screen delivers soft, anti-glare characters, suitable for long-time continuous testing work. The dual-line display design can show two sets of data simultaneously, such as weight value, density result or different unit readings. It automatically completes unit conversion, reduces manual checking, and greatly improves testing efficiency. Operators can directly read the required data without frequent switching of interfaces.
Consistent with the original EK model, this upgraded balance still supports hydrostatic density measurement. Equipped with the density test kit, it can quickly detect the density of gold, silver, precious alloys, plastic pellets, rubber and other solid samples. The internal program automatically calculates density values, which effectively avoids manual calculation errors. One balance can finish both weighing and density testing, saving laboratory counter space and simplifying the testing workflow.
Optional rear LCD secondary display is still available for this upgraded model, offering an extra viewing angle, which is ideal for jewelry stores and gold appraisal counters. The user-friendly keypad is easy to master for new operators. A standard RS232 communication port is reserved for connecting printers, computers and management systems, supporting data recording, report export and full quality traceability.
